Information we collect
When you create an account, Supabase Auth processes your email address, authentication credentials, and account identifiers. We store your display name, time zone, role, account status, alert preferences, and saved subscription information. Newsletter signup stores the email address, consent time, and signup source. The support form is currently a demonstration and does not transmit its contents.
The assistant processes the question you submit, along with basic technical information needed for security and distributed rate limiting. The current assistant uses rule-based matching against the site’s approved content and does not send questions to an external generative-AI provider.
How we use information
We use information to provide accounts, preferences, launch subscriptions, security controls, abuse prevention, and requested support. We do not sell personal information.
Service providers
Supabase provides authentication and database services. Hostinger hosts the application. Upstash may process limited network identifiers for rate limiting when configured. Cloudflare provides DNS and email forwarding. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy practices.
Cookies and local storage
Authentication may use cookies necessary to keep users signed in. Saved-launch selections may use browser local storage. We do not currently use advertising cookies or cross-site behavioral advertising.
Retention and choices
We retain account and subscription information while it is needed to provide the service or meet security and legal needs. To request access, correction, deletion, or newsletter removal, email hello@wallopswatch.com. Identity verification may be required before fulfilling a request.
Children
Wallops Watch is a general-audience service and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. A parent or guardian who believes a child provided information should contact us.
Security and changes
We use access controls, Row Level Security, input validation, rate limiting, and secure configuration practices. No system can guarantee absolute security. Material changes to this policy will be posted here with a revised effective date.
